We have a winner! And you’ll have to check out the video to find out if it’s you! ^_~ Besides, you totally want to check out this video anyway, since the opening is just…just fabulous. lol
This is kind of an odd thing for me to be posting about in here, but I want to spread the word as widely as I can. 🙂
We’re doing a major spring clearout of tons of geeky items; doubles, things we got in sub boxes that just aren’t for us, things that don’t really fit in our collection anymore, and so on. We’ve shared an album of everything that’s for sale – along with instructions on how to go about dealing with the sale process – on the Facebook page for our YouTube channel. So if you’re interested in checking out what we’ve got to move, please head over here: https://www.facebook.com/TraceysBasement/ and scroll down to find the post. 🙂 Thanks!
It’s always fun getting viewer mail and seeing what people chose to send along our way! This box is no different, and was absolutely enormous, packed with stuff for everyone in the family, not to mention a candy aisle’s worth of treats for us to share! Thank you so much to Shaz from the UK for sending this huge box along our way! We had a ton of fun unboxing it all and will be eating candy for ages! 😀
We were super-lucky enough to be sent a full case of Cryptozoic‘s brand new Street Fighter Lil Knockouts line! These are being released at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, so we are actually some of the first people to have them in our possession; how amazing is that?!
So in this video we’re unboxing the entire case of blind-tins and showing you exactly what you can expect should you decide to pick some of these little figures up for yourself. And seriously, you guys, these are such beautifully-designed little figures! If you’re a fan of the Street Fighter franchise, you’ll definitely want to look them up, as well as the full-sized Knockout figures of Cammy, Chun Li, and Sakura that are also coming soon!
If you know myself, or my husband Jason, you know that we’re both enormous kids. We love what we love, and what we love is all things geeky, nerdy, and steeped in pop culture. One of the all-time biggest movies of our childhood was when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hit the big screen, so when Jason heard that NECA – amazing fabricators of beautiful collectibles/toys – were going to be giving their 1/4-scale figure treatment to the movie versions of the Ninja Turtles, he absolutely lost it. He knew that, if nothing else, he was going to have to get the Raphael – his favorite turtle.
Well, it took a while since pre-orders sold out really fast and no stores within driving distance of us actually got any, but eventually we were able to order one from Big Bad Toy Store, and yesterday we finally opened it up. Let me tell you, Jason was like a kid at Christmas, and I don’t blame him one bit. That figure is SWEET! Check out the video below for lots of childlike joy! 😀
